Taking the Son to the Nations
Worship Vibes is a close-knit team of Bajan performers who love the Lord and have a heart to reach out to the lost through arts and culture, going out intentionally into the places where the gospel needs to be heard - bars, public places like the boardwalk, and more.
We believe culture is a key to unlock hearts to the gospel and therefore use mainly Caribbean styles, displaying the unique fingerprint of God in us as a people. Our sets range from Reggae, to Spouge, to Soca, Calypso, Folk, and more, and we use the music as our platform to minister.
This Year...
In 2022, we see God leading us to step out further, not just locally in Barbados, but also to go overseas and take part in 2 outreaches with YWAM in Europe - ‘Paris Je T’aime’ in France and ‘Regeneration’ at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, spreading the gospel, love and beauty of Jesus Christ. This opportunity came through one of our members Jake who did missionary training in Europe and has open doors there.
The exact dates of these outreaches are below:
Switzerland - Montreux Jazz Festival outreach with YWAM Lausanne - July 3rd - 16th
France - Paris Je t’aime outreach with YWAM Paris Connect - July 16th - 31st
We are also believing for a powerful ministry of healing and reconciliation as Caribbean missionaries in Europe.
